|12:34 pm - I hate you! You're mean! You're not my friend anymore!!|
When I first contracted the blogging bug, scarlettina warned me about, among other things, LJ's emotionally charged use of the word "friend" to mean, roughly, "person of some interest."
Bad news, everybody! Soon I will have no "friends!" Or maybe, too many "friends." I'm not sure which, yet.
I'd already started planning on altering my "blog hot list," since it is brand new and all, and part of that is to sweep everything into my shiny new RSS feed reader, NewsFire. (For you Mac users: I looked at five different ones, and felt this one was so superior, that I not only installed it, but paid the shareware fee within 30 minutes.)
Since I'm now mostly reading blogs through NewsFire, I'm going to either drop all my current Friend entries, or possibly throw a bunch more People With Whom I'm Acquainted In Some Way, But Don't Necessarily Read The Blogs Of onto the list. I haven't decided which, yet. Hmmmm...
Current Mood: thoughtful
Seriously, I do enjoy your comments, so I hope you keep dropping in somehow or other ;P
And you'll still be on my friend list. :D

I'm not thrilled by the term myself--I don't think Jon is either, but he's got the most formidable list I've ever seen. All of whom seem to post literate three page missives every twelve minutes. It's very discouraging...
You're such a geek. ;-)
Sorry if I messed your brief journey through Live Journal, if you do indeed raise to the next plane of blogging existence. =D

I'll throw more people onto the LJ list, until the day it all moves to my own server....
